Stop eating sugar – whether added or natural, sugar spikes your blood glucose and insulin level every time you eat it. This leads to inflammation and injury to the inner walls of your arteries, contributing to everything from stroke, to heart attack, to kidney failure.

‍Stop eating grains – Grains are seeds, and plants put toxins in their seeds to keep them from being eaten. These toxins lead to inflammation in the gut, and many other places in the body, including the joints. The carbohydrates in grains quickly break down into sugar (see #1)

Stop eating vegetable seed oils – These “vegetable’ oils, like canola, corn, soybean, safflower, sunflower and peanut have an improper Omega6:Omega3 fatty acid ratio, again leading to inflammation in many parts of your body and brain.

Stop drinking liquid dairy – Skim milk is full of sugar and inflammatory proteins. Milk is less bad as more fat is left in, and the less processed it is. Milk is produced by mammals to help their babies gain weight as quickly as possible. No adult mammal (even you) benefits from drinking milk regularly. Butter & Ghee have had all of the sugar and protein removed.

Eat more fatty meat - The fat and protein in fatty meat break down into all the essential amino acids and fatty acids your body needs to rebuild cells and tissues. Fatty meats are one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet.

Go for a morning walk – The morning sun (even in Winter) helps reset your circadian clock and improves symptoms of depression. Exercise from the walking is good for your body and brain in hundreds of ways.

Get better sleep - Sticking to a set bedtime in a cool, blacked-out, white-noise filled bedroom is a sure way to get better sleep. Your brain is actually cleaned of debris and damage by the Glymphatic system when you are sleeping deeply.
