Can you clarify a serving size per person please . I would find this very dry to swallow , would you add berries and yoghurt or milk to make this more digestible .
I also do not understand whether
.5 is single serving amount
or is it enough for 6 servings
Hi Denise, this recipe serves for 12 people.
Also, you can serve muesli with full-fat milk or almond milk, or try with full-fat unsweetened Greek or coconut yoghurt.
We hope this helps. Please let us know how you go! 🙂
Love this recipe – it’s a constant. Delicious with yoghurt and berries. Thank you for the recipe.
So glad to hear it’s become a staple for you, Sharon! 🙌 It really is delicious with yoghurt and berries — such a simple, low carb classic. Thanks for sharing your feedback! 🥣🍓
I can’t find unsweetened coconut in New Zealand. Is there another name for it or should I omit it from the recipe. Thank You!
Hi Joanna, thanks for this question. Recommend looking for dessicated coconut as an alternative and it’s usually located at the baking aisle of all major supermarkets. Please make sure not to bake it and simply sprinkle the desiccated coconut through at the end once the mixture has cooled thorough.
We hope this helps!

Since being diagnosed as pre-diabetic (I am no longer in that category :-) this has been a game changer. I am never without a jar of it in the cupboard. I make a brew around every three weeks. Chopping the nuts is a bit like meditation. I eat it with chopped fruit and coconut cream or full fat cows cream. It is delicious. For a bit more flavour I have increased the cinnamon and added nutmeg too.
Love this, Margaret! And well done on getting out of the pre-diabetic range—that’s fantastic news! 🎉
Having a jar ready to go is a great habit, and we like the idea of nut chopping as a bit of kitchen meditation. Your tweaks sound delicious too—extra cinnamon and nutmeg would add a lovely warmth. Thanks for sharing what’s working for you!

So, it serves 12. Is that a 1/4 cup. Tablespoon?
Hi Sue, thanks for your question! A serving is approximately 1/4 cup of the finished muesli, although it can vary slightly depending on how finely or coarsely the nuts are chopped.
Many members enjoy serving it with yoghurt, cream or unsweetened milk, depending on their preferences. – DD Team
