Simple Ploughman's Platter

An easy lunch or light dinner where the only cooking required is to boil an egg.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg at room temperature
  • 36 g prosciutto
  • 50 g brie cheese
  • 36 g nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, macadamia)
  • medium carrot sliced
  • 3 cornichons

Instructions
 

  • Fill a saucepan with enough cold water to cover the egg. Bring to a boil and then gently lower the egg into the water. Reduce the heat to a rolling boil and cook for 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Drain and run the egg under cold water, then peel and cut in half.
  • Assemble all the ingredients on a plate or into a lunch box and you’re done. (If you're toting this, peel the egg just before you eat.)
