Simple Ploughman's Platter
An easy lunch or light dinner where the only cooking required us to boil an egg.
Ingredients
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 36 g prosciutto
- 50 g brie cheese
- 36 g nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, macadamia)
- ⅓ medium carrot sliced
- 3 cornichons
Instructions
- Fill a saucepan with enough cold water to cover the egg. Bring to a boil and then gently lower the egg into the water. Reduce the heat to a rolling boil and cook for 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Drain and run the egg under cold water, then peel and cut in half.
- Assemble all the ingredients on a plate or into a lunch box and you’re done. (If you're toting this, peel the egg just before you eat.)
